Find the right level for you

Our apprenticeships can span from Traineeships all the way up to Degree, allowing you to take your learning as far as you want to go in a variety of industries - from local creative agencies to large multinational corporations.

We teach skills that matter

What will you learn?

Our IT Systems and Networking Degree apprenticeship combines high-quality classroom training with digital learning and on-the-job experience, to develop advanced IT skills in the most popular technologies.

The Network Engineer pathway of our Degree apprenticeship will further develop your real world skills in key and emerging areas including: network design, cyber security, servers, storage & virtualisation, cloud computing, bring your own device (BYOD), Unix, DevOps, software-defined networking, and the internet of things (IoT).

How will you learn?

The Degree apprenticeship is delivered using our blended learning approach – this is a combination of digital learning and face-to-face teaching.

The Degree apprenticeship includes two apprenticeship levels. Each level within the Degree apprenticeship takes 15 months to complete. So, if you are starting here, this programme will take 2.5 years to complete.

Within each level, there are multiple learning modules and you will take one module in each 10-week term.

Each module contains:

  • Digital content that you can access online, combined with something for you to do. This could be a technical exercise, contribution to discussion forums or a quiz. Each week our Lecturers will provide a new chapter for you to complete.
  • Two face-to-face workshops lasting 2 days each – one near the beginning of the module and one near the end.
  • Meetings with your Technical Skills Coach every 8 weeks.
  • Access to remote support from our Lecturers and Skills Coaches throughout the module.

What qualifications will you get?

  • BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions from the University of Roehampton  (yes, a real degree just like any university graduate)

QA and the University of Roehampton

QA works in partnership with the University of Roehampton to bring you the best of both worlds.

All of the teaching and assessment is delivered by QA’s team of educators and face-to-face sessions are delivered in QA’s training centres.

The whole programme is validated by the University of Roehampton, meaning that they provide overarching quality assurance for each individual module as well as awarding your final degree certificate when you achieve.

The University of Roehampton is ranked as the best modern university in London according to the Complete University Guide 2017, giving you assurance of the long-term value of your Degree apprenticeship with us. The University also has an excellent research profile, with some of the most highly-regarded academic departments in the UK.
