One of the largest business services companies in the world providing Pest Control, Hygiene Services and Workwear services, are on the search for a Apprentice. Rentokil Initial provide services that improve and enhance lives, with services that protect the health and wellbeing of people, and the reputation of their customers’ brands.

The Global HR Systems Team Apprentice will be an individual contributor assisting with various aspects of system administration for a combination of these systems: Workday, uTranslate (SDL), myLearning (our external customer facing learning site) with possibility of supporting with U+ Online (our internal employee facing learning site).

Responsibilities

Some of your day to day responsibilities may include:

  • Administration of the day to day running of systems supported by the UK HR Team, with assistance from other members
  • Assisting with queries / issues from users in terms of basic first line support issues
  • Ensuring pre employment checks are completed, including security and right to work evidence is completed
  • Completion of new starter, changes to employment, and 7 Leaver processes are completed in line with agreed timescales
  • Ensuring completion of Payroll data is supplied to our external payroll provider in line with agreed deadlines
  • Completion of electronic filing to ensure information is accurate and up to date
  • Liaising with our external payroll provider to resolve queries and payroll issues
  • Assistance with project work as and when required

Qualifications required

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above

Other Important Information

Our working week is 37.5 hours, from 9am-5:30pm (Monday - Friday)
