Daily duties can include:
- Answering the phone to customers with any IT quires
- Guiding customers through any IT quires
- Understanding how IT systems work
- General Business admin duties
Are you eligible?
Are you currently not in a job with little or no work experience?
Are you aged 16 to 18 and qualified below Level 3 (A level) or aged 19 to 24 and not yet achieved a Level 2 (5 GCSE’s at grade C including maths and English)?
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals that wants to build a career within an IT support role.
The 6 weeks work placement will be with a company called Monitor, that specialize IT support services to small and medium sized businesses and to Educational sectors. They cover a wide range of Information Technology from Smart Phones and IPads to virtual workstations and cloud based servers.
Training to be provided:
The Traineeship opportunity includes work preparation training, maths and English support for those who require it and a high quality work experience placement. You will also have the opportunity to work towards a Level 2 qualification.
Minimum of 6 weeks
Working hours of programme:
Monday to Thursday 9.30am-4.30pm
- Good communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team and on your own
- Able to following instruction in a professional manor
- Team player
No formal qualifications required but an interest to learn new skills.
