Responsibilities

As a Application Management Apprentice, you will:

  • Provide support for IT applications and solutions, from troubleshooting and system monitoring to incident resolution, in liaison with clients and suppliers
  • Develop and implement fixes and enhancements to existing applications
  • Develop and implement new applications, using a range of tools and technologies
  • Learn how to adapt while taking on new technical challenges every day

Qualifications required

5 GSCE’s grades A-C, including Maths & English

Additional information

Daily working hours: Monday to Friday, 37hrs per week

- The apprenticeship will blend on the job experience, face to face workshops and online learning, leading to:

  • Advanced Apprenticeship Software Development Technician L3 (equivalent to A level educational level)
  • Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer (Java track)
  • Microsoft MTA Software Development Fundamentals (C# track)
  • BCS Systems Development Essentials
