This is a new and rapidly growing online insurance intermediary. We are a small team that is looking for bright, motivated applicants that are interested in getting involved in our business from the word ‘go’.

We prefer to grow our own talent internally and over the last 15 years here and at a previous business, the business owners (who you will work for directly) have successfully brought Apprentices through into their future careers. This includes online marketing, social media, account management, IT security, developers, project management, and more both in the UK and internationally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a quickly growing online insurance specialist based in Benfleet, Essex.

The company promotes a number of niche insurance products via in house developed and maintained web sites and quote/booking systems. The successful candidate will have full support from a multi skilled team, to help build their career in programming.

Job Details:

Responsibilities of the Apprentice – In this role, you will be:

Giving technical support of the company network and computer systems

Deal with the maintenance of company web sites and systems

Learning all aspects of office communications, from initial configuration to troubleshooting, both on hardware and desktop/server software

Learning the systems/software we use to keep our customers communicating

Focusing on gaining a strong knowledge of our products from a service point of view, as well as a user view

Requirements of the Apprentice

You will ideally have:

An understanding/knowledge or HTML / PHP / Javascript

IT skills/knowledge

Good communication skills

A good use of initiative

5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English

Training available for the Apprentice

Networking and Architecture

Mobile and Operating System

Cloud Services

Coding and Logic

Business Process

Apprenticeships and Vendor qualifications L3

Advanced Apprenticeship Infrastructure Technician Level 3 (equivalent to A- level educational level), MTA Networking Fundamentals, MTA Mobility and Devices Fundamentals, MTA Cloud Fundamentals, One Microsoft MOC on demanded course

Additional information

The role is 35hrs per week - Monday to Friday - 9:00am-5.00pm
