Job Details:

Responsibilities of the Apprentice – In this role you will:

Work in conjunction with the Senior Secretary to support the Commercial Team

Work with relevant stakeholders to source and book venues/meeting rooms for business initiatives

Work with the Procurement and Supply Chain Director to maintain an up to date data-base of Preferred Subcontractors

Work alongside relevant teams to provide support for various annual business initiatives (We're Safer Together)

Work with Senior Secretary and other Administrators to deliver efficient Order process including the prompt return of signed orders

Participate in meetings

Requirements of the Apprentice

You will ideally have:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

A high attention to detail and will be accurate in delivery of tasks

The ability to work as part of a team

The confidence to contribute new ideas/different approaches

A focused and self-driven approach - able to work on your own and use your own initiative

Flexibility in approach to working - different hours, not 9-5!

A willingness to learn and will have an inquisitive nature - prepared to learn by asking questions

Motivation and drive

5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English

Training available for the Apprentice

Starts with a 12-14 month Business apprenticeship, which consists of 10 days of in-centre training in combination with work-based assessment, covering: IT skills, Customer service, Administration and Complaints handling.

You will gain a City & Guilds Level 3 in Business & Administration. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning £25k in a business role.

Benefits and additional information

Working days/hours – Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week, actual day hours to be agreed
