Job Details:

Responsibilities

  • Set up ICT and AV equipment as required
  • Maintain and repair PCs including all peripherals ensuring equipment is maintained in full working order and that faults are logged and repairs are carried out efficiently seeking support when required
  • To identify and troubleshoot faults and malfunctions
  • Assist staff and students with their ICT requirements, escalating and responding to issues promptly and supporting in class/assembly as requested
  • Ensure the security marking and recording of all new hardware is in order to ensure inventories of all equipment in the school is up to date
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the school website, VLE and Digital Signage
  • Create engaging, creative and innovative content for the school website, VLE and Digital Signage including photography and video content
  • Develop and upload content to the school website, VLE and Digital Signage
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and students in contributing content and materials for the website, VLE and Digital Signage
  • Create and develop other digital media which could include brochures, leaflets and tickets

Qualifications required

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above

Additional information

You will work from 9am-5:30pm, with one hour lunch break each day – 35hrs per week
