Job hunting
The most important part of a QA Apprenticeship is the job you’ll have throughout your programme. That’s why, when you start with QA, we’ll be working with you straight away to find you that all-important first IT role.
Before you start
Once you pass our initial screening stages, you'll be invited to a recruitment day to meet your local QA Recruitment Executive. There, they'll assess your ability and ambition.
If you do well with them, they will start working with you straight away to find an ideal job as local to you as possible.
How we support you
- Advice on CV writing and interview techniques
- Finding a job workshops
- Feedback from employers from your interviews

After the programme
Very often the employer you have completed your apprenticeship will keep you on but if not, you still have industry recognised qualifications that will help you to access a range of roles in IT.
Planning your career
The early years in your career will give you the real stepping stone to develop your skills and experience further. Start researching the area of IT you want to specialise in. Planning your career from the start will give you a better opportunity to be able to achieve your goal.
Where do I find a job?
Thanks to the internet, the opportunities to look for work have expanded. With social networking sites, blogging, forums and on-line communities, employers are looking for new ways to get in touch with talented individuals. So start researching, think about the industry you want to work in, look on the company website, apply whether or not they're advertising jobs, and write a knockout covering letter and CV to support your application.
