Whether it's your first time or you are a seasoned pro at hiring apprentices, we will make it as easy as possible for you.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you understand the entire process:

  1. You (the employer) get in touch and let us know your apprentice requirements.

  2. When we've defined your business needs, you will send us a vacancy for your apprenticeship roles to bring an apprentice into your business.

  3. We find candidates to match your requirements using our optional apprenticeship recruitment service.

  4. We give you guidance about what to expect from your new recruit/employed apprentice. (Read more about how we support you.)

  5. Final interviews are conducted by you so you can make sure candidates are right for your business.

  6. When you have found the right candidate, you will make the job offer.

  7. Set your new apprentices' training schedule or individual learning plan (ILP). This is agreed between you, your apprentice and your QA Apprenticeships Assessor or Technical Skills Coach.

  8. The apprenticeship begins - your apprentice will be guided through QA training and work-based assessments - how much depends on the apprenticeship your apprentice is on. You will receive ongoing contact and support from your QA Account Manager and Assessor/Technical Skills Coach.

  9. Completion, achievement, and beyond - QA Apprenticeship helps you progress your apprentice into their ongoing role with you, whether that is progression onto the next level of apprenticeship or training, or advice on suitable roles for progression within your business.
